Biography:
Cindy joined the Sheffield design team after having worked in the design field in many capacities. She holds a design degree from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and started her career in graphic design and illustration. Later she ventured on her own painting murals and designing hand painted furniture. While living in Historic Pinehurst N.C., Cindy worked as a furniture buyer and designer for a prestigious design firm working on residential and vacation homes. She finds great fulfillment in turning houses into homes for her clients, reflecting who they are and where their lives have taken them.
Cindy and Rick (her husband of 26 years) have two accomplished sons- Jake, a senior at Penn State majoring in Actuarial Science and Jordan a third year student pursuing a BS in Nursing/Anesthesia. As a family, they love adventurous vacations, exploring Europe, sailing in the Keys, scuba diving, shooting the rapids down the Grand Canyon and skiing in British Columbia. But despite these exciting vacations, Cindy and Rick enjoy most of their evenings in their Lancaster County home sitting atop a ridge overlooking Amish farms in the valley.
Some of Cindy's accomplishment include:

Design Philosophy:
"Design should not be an exacting science concerned with hard and fast rules. It's about creating beautiful surroundings that invite you in - creating a soft place to land at the end of the day."
Personal Style:
"My personal style would be Eclectic. I love to mix the old with the new, using very special pieces and finish by using great original artwork."
