Biography:
After graduating with a nursing degree, Peggy met and married her husband of 45 years, Richard. Living in Buffalo, NY for 2 years, they were transferred to Pittsburg where they lived for 18 years. There they enjoyed raising two lovely children Douglas and Kristine. During this time Peggy and another designer started their own decorative accessories & design business. They represented several accessory lines and were involved in many trade shows. They were featured in the Designer Show Cases as well as many house tours in the Pittsburg area.
When the family was transferred to the Philadelphia area Peggy became a buyer of Gifts and Accessories for several years. Before journeying to the Sheffield Design team in Feb 2006 she spent many years at JM Walton in design furnishings where she worked on many prominent homes in the tri state area.
Peggy has accomplished many prominent projects such as:
- Lectures & Design at the Philadelphia Flower show
- Decorated numerous private residences in preparation for Chester County Days
- Decorated in the Tri State Area, New York City and Philadelphia’s Society Hill
- Decorated various private residences in preparation for Chadds Ford Christmas Tour
- Worked with cleints having vacation homes in Florida and the shore
- Was published in Country Living
- Decorated various executive offices and entrances in the corporate area of Great Valley
In her personal time Peggy enjoys her two adorable granddaughters Lauren and Brynn Ashley, Her family and friends travel includes many countries such as: Italy, Paris Belgium, Germany, Finland, Copenhagen, Russia and South America. Peggy also went on a special missionary trip to a children’s orphanage in Albania
Design philosophy:
"The design buisness is an exciting and ever changing world. I enjoy designing together with the client; it’s a rewarding process to assist in turning their house into their dream home. I enjoy creating wonderful relationships with my clients that develop over the years, how rewarding it is for all. I also find the flow of color to be an essential aspect of decorating."
