That was the belief of Francis Shrawder, the grandfather of Sheffield Furniture & Interiors and Shrawder Restorations majority owner James Shrawder, when he began restoring furniture at the height of the Great Depression. Today, our master craftsmen continue his legacy by providing expert furniture restoration and custom construction using artisan techniques, never automated shortcuts. What Francis started almost 75 years ago is now a state of the art workshop and delivery service company. Our workshop is led by master craftsman Steve Epps. Other team members include antique restoration expert Steve Phipps, Italian-trained master upholsterer Vinnie Constantini, and fourth generation apprentice Matt Shrawder.
