Empty Canvas to Beautiful Room!

From an empty room to a stunning space! This recent design project was so satisfying! Our client was downsizing. She wanted cleaner, sleeker lines for her beach house.
Lori Yanez is one of our designers who was challenged to create a fresh look using existing art and antiques. For example, the client’s baby grand piano was a treasured item. Lori designed a subtle beach décor working with pieces like this.
The room was newly constructed. It featured an open floor plan. Lori used soft, neutral color to create a spacious, sophisticated feeling.

A geometric wool rug defined the main seating area. Lori brought the colors of the beach indoors using comfortable upholstery in textures of beige, gray, and soft blues.
Lori found a gorgeous fabric to use for the window treatments. It added to the subtle colors of the room. The window treatments were also functional, using shades to control light and privacy. The drapery rods featured pretty bubble crystal finials. Lori extended them to show more of the windows.

For the dining area, Lori reused a table the client chalk-painted. She coordinated six distinctive chairs upholstered in faux leather and reptile fabric with nail head accents. The modern crystal chandelier is in an antique silver finish and lit up the table with real style!
Lori created a fantastic living space by listening to her client carefully and using her most treasured pieces. Bring us your design challenge! Our design team is creative, passionate, and experienced… you’ll love the results!
